SOURCES OF RELEASE
Sources of release may originate from almost anywhere in the process or storage area of a hazardous area site. Flammable materials may be released from Pumps, Pipes, Flanges, Valves, Sampling Points, or other similar apparatus. The release may be caused for example by either seal failure at joints to flanges, ruptures to pipe work, or inadvertent operations error.
